ADRA Somalia invites qualified consultants or firms to submit proposals for conducting a Needs Assessment, Market Research, and Technical Advisory Services focused on financial products for Women’s Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) and Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in Somalia.
🔍 About the Assignment
This consultancy is part of the EU-funded e-WINS Project, which aims to economically empower 10,000 women through enhanced participation in business and decision-making. The consultant will:

Assess SME landscapes and financing needs in selected Somali regions

Analyze access barriers to financial services for women-led enterprises
-
Investigate financial products offered by banks, MFIs, and others
-
Profile business development services and opportunities
-
Provide technical advice for inclusive and scalable financial solutions

✅ Consultant Qualifications
-
Postgraduate degree in Economics, Business, or related fields

Proven experience in SME research and gender-responsive financial services

Understanding of Somalia’s economic and social context

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
