🔍 About the Assignment
ADRA Somalia is seeking a qualified and experienced consultant or consultancy firm to lead a capacity building initiative on Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) and Sustainable Rural Livelihoods under the ASPIRE project.
This assignment aims to enhance climate resilience, increase agricultural productivity, and promote sustainability in rural communities through the adoption of Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs). The target groups include farmers, farmer trainers, agricultural extension agents, and school garden management committees across four federal member states.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct a training needs assessment (TNA) for target participants.

Develop a customized CSA training manual (English & Somali).

Deliver practical Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions.

Facilitate proposal development workshops for CSA initiatives.

Provide inception, training, and final reports with full documentation.
Qualifications
-
Minimum degree in Agriculture, Environment, or Natural Resource Management.

Demonstrated experience in CSA, agricultural training, and capacity building.

Strong understanding of climate change adaptation in agriculture.

Proven track record of similar assignments in Somalia or comparable contexts.

Excellent communication skills in English and Somali.
