ADRA Appreciated for its Integrity and Cooperation in Las Anod, Somaliland

The local government in Las Anod, Somaliland awarded ADRA a certificate of appreciation for their integrity and cooperation during the planning and implementation of the RESTORE project funded by European Union (EU) and SIDA.

The mayor of Las Anod, Honourable Abdiaziz Hussein Mohamed thanked ADRA for their coordination, integrity, and teamwork for their work in the district. The certificate was awarded during a monthly meeting held by the local government that brings together development organizations and partners with an aim to establish integrity, mutual coordination and cooperation among the organizations in the district and ensure that they achieve the set objectives for their activities.

The RESTORE project aims to strengthen resilience of vulnerable households and communities in Las Anod, Somaliland through improved food security and livelihoods and build resilience to pastoralists and agro pastoralists of the 12 targeted villages in the district.
